Biography

A fifth-generation Oklahoman, Anita K. Anthony received a Bachelor of Arts in Letters and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. She has over thirty years of legal experience representing and advising corporations, municipalities, and individuals in civil litigation matters in state, tribal, and federal courts.

Ms. Anthony has extensive experience in real property and energy law, having handled all property-related litigation for one of Oklahoma’s largest cities and later served as assistant general counsel for an Oklahoma oil company. She also served as a judge for the former municipality of Hall Park, Oklahoma. She has defended clients in personal injury, premises liability, banking, and transportation matters. She is licensed to practice in Oklahoma and Texas, before all federal courts in Oklahoma, and in the Muscogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma.
