Vale Gonzalez
ATTORNEY
Vale Gonzalez was born in Harlingen, Texas and is a first-generation Mexican American and college graduate. After finishing high school in South Texas, he graduated early from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. During his law school studies at the University of Tulsa College of Law, Mr. Gonzalez engaged in the Immigrant Rights Project to aid residents in administrative immigration hearings and family-based petitions. He had the rare opportunity to present a case before an immigration law judge during his law school training. For a week, Mr. Gonzalez took part in T.U. Law's first-ever immigration trip to South Texas to provide legal services to women and children currently detained in Karnes County Residential Center. While defending his clients' rights, Mr. Gonzalez also worked for local attorney Gale Allison to practice trust and estate litigation. With Ms. Allison, Mr. Gonzalez co-authored several articles published to the Oklahoma Bar Journal on topics including trust and estate issues in family mediation and gun trusts. He also co-authored continuing legal education material with Ms. Allison to provide education to attorneys, certified public accountants, and other tax professionals in Tulsa.
After an early graduation from T.U. Law, Mr. Gonzalez became licensed as a practicing attorney in Oklahoma. He joined the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office in 2019 as a misdemeanor attorney, quickly rising to prosecute felony cases. He received first chair and second chair experience in several successful trials and argued on behalf of the State of Oklahoma in countless hearings. Gonzalez is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Oklahoma, including all the Oklahoma United States District Courts. Mr. Gonzalez's practice areas include general civil litigation, railroad law defense, criminal law defense and immigration law. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa County Bar Association. On his time off, Mr. Gonzalez enjoys boating and fishing in the local lakes and rivers around Tulsa.
